Manning Gorge Campground and Manning Falls Hike

Manning Gorge Campground is privately managed by the indigenously owned Mt Barnett Roadhouse and is located on Mt Barnett Station.

Camping fees and Day Use fees are paid on arrival at the Roadhouse (National Parks pass does not apply). Advance bookings are not available.

Manning Gorge Campground and Manning Falls is open during the Dry Season (May - September). Opening and closing dates vary depending on road access and weather conditions. Please call the Roadhouse on +61 8 9191 7007 for additional information.

The facilities at the campground include flushing toilets, showers and a coin operated washing machine. The campground also boasts a beautiful swimming hole and sandy beach which is the start of the hike to Manning Falls.

Manning Falls Hike offers a rewarding experience for outdoor enthusiasts, featuring stunning natural scenery, a challenging terrain and beautiful swimming. The trail meanders across the exposed range past boabs and Kapok trees. Hikers can expect a mix of steep sections and gentle slopes, leading to the breathtaking Manning Falls at the end. Depending on the time of year, the flow of water can vary, but it the picturesque waterhole is always perfect for a refreshing dip. This hike is suitable for those with moderate fitness levels and is best enjoyed with proper footwear and supplies.

Drones are not permitted at the Campground, at Manning Gorge or at any other location on Mt Barnett Station.

Pets are welcome at the Manning Gorge Campground (as long as they are on a lead at all times), however they are not able to be taken on the hike to Manning Falls.

Manning Gorge Day Access

Day Pass for Manning Falls can be purchased on the day until 12pm.

Whilst pets are welcome within the Manning Gorge Campground, they are not able to be taken on the Manning Falls Hike.
